Our Land

Everyone needs beauty as well as bread,
a place to play in and pray in,
where Nature may heal and cheer,
and give strength to both body and Soul alike.

The Courage to Change Ranches are located on the great High Plains of Colorado, east of the Front Range, where the landscape begins to flatten into ranchland.

Here in El Paso County, we are still in the rolling hills which lead from the mountains to the plains. And we have the best of both worlds.

There are vistas where on can see forever...across the sunlit fields to faraway mountain ranges. And there are also intimate, treed spaces...for our land is riven by the old creek beds which guide mountain snowmelt down to the Arkansas River.

We think that Our Land, with all its dramatic weather, its droughts and blizzards and hailstorms, most surely is Paradise.

We want you to know our raptors and coyotes and ground squirrels and elk and jack rabbits and mule deer and cottontails and porcupines and...all the Wonder, all the Wonder....
