Recent News

Women's Ranch Opened in March

The Ranch took a big step forward in March of this year when we opened the Women's Ranch. The Women's Ranch is a new separate facility located about 20 miles down the road from the Men's Ranch. The Women's Ranch is a larger facility than the Men's Ranch and gives us the opportunity to share group meetings, classes and other educational opportunities both there and at the Men's Ranch.

Access to Recovery

The Ranch is now working with the State of Colorado in their Access to Recovery Program. Access to Recovery will ensure access and accountability for alcohol and drug abuse services by allowing individuals greater choices among appropriate programs. It enables eligible individuals to use federal alcohol and drug abuse vouchers to obtain help at all effective treatment organizations, including faith-based and community based organizations.

Denver Probation Department Visit (May 1, 2008)

The Ranch was privileged to host the Denver Probation Department this month. Several members of the Department visited both the men's and women's ranch. The visit was very successful and we received high marks from this team of esteemed team individuals.

Upcoming Events

We plan on keeping you informed of upcoming events at the ranch via this newsletter. The following events are planned for this month:

Third Annual Memorial Day Barbeque (May 25, 2008)

Come join the party. Hamburgers, hot dogs and brats will be provided. Bring the trimmings of your choice and any other potluck dish to enjoy. We'll gather at 1:00 pm, eat at 2:00 pm and Shelly H, an outstanding motivational speaker, will address us at 3:30 pm. Click here for a flyer and directions to the barbeque.

Website Update

We are in the process of creating a new website; http://www.c2cranches.org. We hope to have it up and running by June 1, 2008.
